DESIGN SYSTEM

This was a collaborative effort between two UX designers (myself included) and a larger design team out of Millan, Italy, that took almost 2 years to define and refine. The end product is significantly different than where we began. With many stakeholders inputs changing much of what you see here.
Role: UX / UI design
Timeline: 2 years (Multiple Sprints)
Tools used: Figma & Photoshop
I designed this design system after working on this brand and projects for years, so I had a ton of back-story and history to pull from. I used the Atomic System methodology from Brad Frost and changed the color pallete to meet more in-line with what I believed was more appropriate for a healthcare brand. I defined fonts, and developed an entire library for website elements and modules, as well as defined page styling. This project didn't really align with a Sprint timeline, as it was in flux for quite some time, and was something I worked on when I had time, between project work.
